Singer KK's Death Shocks Bollywood. "What A Loss," Tweet Akshay Kumar And Other Stars

Prominent singer-composer KK died on May 31 in Kolkata, hours after his concert in Nazrul Mancha auditorium. The singer fell ill while performing and was taken to a private hospital, where he was declared dead. Krishnakumar Kunnath, whose stage name was KK, was known for his songs like Yaaron, Pal, Dil Ibaadat, Khuda Jaane and many more. His sudden death has left the music and film industry in a shock. Soon after the news broke out, Bollywood celebs, including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Vicky Kaushal, mourned his death. 

Akshay Kumar tweeted, "Extremely sad and shocked to know of the sad demise of KK. What a loss! Om Shanti.''

Ajay Devgn also tweeted, "It seems so ominous. The news of KK's death that too right after a live performance is terrible. He sang for films I was associated with, so his loss seems that much more personal. RIP #KrishnakumarKunnath. Prayers & condolences to his family".

Ranveer Singh shared a picture of KK on his Instagram stories and captioned it with a broken heart emoticon. 

Ananya Panday also shared a picture of KK, along with a broken heart emoticon on her Instagram stories. In the background, we can hear KK's song Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar from the movie MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar.

Karan Johar tweeted, "Heartbreaking news on the sudden passing away of such an incredible talent.... RIP KK... the entertainment world has lost a true artist today....Om Shanti"

Varun Dhawan tweeted, "Extremely shocked and sad by the passing away of our beloved kk. A musician whose voice shaped much of my childhood."

Vicky Kaushal also shared a picture on his Instagram stories along with a note. He wrote, "Your magical voice will live on forever; Thank you for your evergreen songs. RIP KK!"

Rajkummar Rao shared a picture of KK on his Instagram stories and captioned it as, "KK sir Rest in peace," along with broken heart and sad face emoticons. 

Nimrat Kaur also shared a picture of KK on her Instagram handle with a heartbroken emoticon. 

Vivek Oberoi shared a post on his Instagram handle along with a long note, that read, "Can't believe KK is gone. It's a sad day for all of us. Always loved his voice and cherished his songs. Thanks for giving me O Humdum Suniyo Re, everytime I hear it, I will think of you brother. Heaven has become a more melodious place today while we are left with only your voice and the memories. Om shanti!#KK #RIP" 

 Kay Kay Menon also shared a post on his Instagram handle and wrote, "Shocked and Saddened! So difficult to process this! Gone too soon Brother! Aum Shanti!! Sadgati!!  #singerkk". 


Meanwhile, KK made his debut in the music industry in 1999 with the album Pal. Ever since then, he has given numerous hit songs, including Tadap Tadap Ke and Ajab Si, to the music industry.
