Latin pop star Nicky Jam is breaking into acting in a big way with a role in the upcoming xXx sequel, which also stars Indian actress Deepika Padukone.
The El Perdon singer is adding acting to his resume with xXx: The Return of Xander Cage featuring Vin Diesel, who starred in the first xXx release in 2002.
Jam shared the news on Instagram a few days back and wrote: "A dream fulfilled thanks my people for bringing me up here and thanks to Vin Diesel we are in the movie."
The singer joins Miss Universe runner-up Ariadna Gutierrez, who has been cast as Mr Diesel's love interest, as well as Samuel L Jackson, Nina Dobrev, Ice Cube and Toni Collette in the new film. (Also Read: Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone Stab Each Other in New xXx Scene)
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, directed by D J Caruso, is scheduled to hit cinemas in January 20, 2017.
