Mumbai: Now that Mahabharat is going to go off air on Saturday (August 16), actor Anoop Singh Thakur, who plays King Dhritarashtra in the show is looking out for greener pastures in Bollywood.
"The show (Mahabharat) is going off air soon and now if there is an end, there is always a beginning. So I am really keen to move into movies," Anoop said in a statement.
Anoop, reportedly has a few offers from the southern film industry, but he is focussed only on Bollywood.
"I would like to do roles that are serious, especially action stuff. I would love to do performance-oriented roles and (I will) try to do full justice to them," he added.
Meanwhile, Mahabharat, which airs on Star Plus, will end Saturday.
