Tamil actress Sneha married co-actor and fiance Prasanna early morning in Chennai. The couple have been dating for a while and announced wedding plans last month.
The wedding was a traditional affair and a reception was also held earlier.
Sneha looked beautiful in a brown Kanjeevaram sari worn with traditional gold jewellery for the reception. Her new husband was handsome in a golden shervani. Sneha is likely to continue acting post wedding. Sneha and Prasanna had co-starred as a married couple in Achamundu Achamundu, directed by an NRI filmmaker and shot in the US.
Sneha, who moved from Dubai a few years to make it big in Chennai's tinseltown, has been cast opposite every top star from Kamal Haasan in Vasool Raja - a remake of Munna Bhai MBBS to Rajinikanth, Vikram, Suriya, Ajith and Vijay. One of her films, Pallikoodam, was screened at the Cannes Film festival a few years ago.
Prasanna is an engineering graduate from Trichy. As an actor, he has been choosy about his roles and has cultivated a chocolate boy image, in the vein of fellow actor Madhavan.
