Rapper Snoop Dogg, who himselfhad a disturbed past, is raising a troubled teen and helpinghim lead a normal life.
The 39-year-old singer admitted that he prefers tospend his spare time helping troubled youngsters and coachingthem with his youth football programmes, reported the DailyStar online.
A certified football coach, Dogg says his dedicationgoes beyond the football field.
"A lot of kids that I work with, I take under my wing.There's one living with us now that was an at-risk kid. He'sbecoming more productive. As opposed to being a great athlete,we're making him a great person," said the rapper.
The hip-hop star, who fought drug abuses in his earlylife, says he is proud of helping at-risk youth overcome theirproblems.
"My greatest accomplishment is being able to stay me.It got me great endorsement deals, movie deals, record deals.Around the whole world, I'm looked at as a good guy. Not as avillain or a drug dealer I came in as," Dogg added.
