New Delhi: Good news for Sonakshi Sinha's fans. Sonakshi, who was last seen in Sunhil Sippy's Noor, elated her fans and followers by sharing the news on Twitter that she will feature in a sequel to Diana Penty's Happy Bhag Jaegi. Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Anand L Rai, Happy Bhag Jaegi featured actors like Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Sheirgill. "I'm thrilled to be on board of this really positive, vibrant and most importantly happy film unit. I loved the first part and I hope this one is bigger and better in every way. Can't wait to start shooting." DNA quoted Sonakshi as saying.

Diana Penty, who played the role of a runaway bride in the film, told DNA: "Happy Bhag Jaegi was a special film for me, so being part of Happy Bhag Jaegi Returns is like going back to family! The film was a fun, roller- coaster of a ride and I'm sure this one is going to be as much of a riot! I'm looking forward to the shoot."

Of Happy Bhag Jaegi, Aanand L Rai said, "The film was a cross-border comedy of errors featuring humorous characters and now we are happy to announce the sequel that has Diana passing on the happy-ness quotient to Sonakshi. Excited to have her on board," reports DNA.

Punjabi Singer Jassie Gill, who will make his Bollywood debut with Happy Bhag Jaegi Returns, posted a picture on Twitter and shared the news:
 

Aanand L Rai is also currently filming his next yet-untitled film with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Diana Penty was last seen in a jail drama Lucknow Central, co-starring Farhan Akhtar while Sonakshi Sinha is awaiting the release of her upcoming film Ittefaq, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra.
