Mumbai:
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha haslaid down some rules for herself and is clear about what shewill never do in movies.
The Dabangg star has maintained that she will not doany intimate scenes and also won't sport a bikini on screenever. Yet she has been getting plump Bollywood offers.
"I am not open to wear a bikini. I don't see any reasonto change it because if audience has accepted me fully clothedthen why will I resort to it. It ( kissing and gettingintimate) is a complete no.. I am not that kind of a person. Ihave been brought up in certain way, I have certainrestrictions that I follow," Sonakshi said.
The 24-year-old says she lacks the guts which Vidya Balanexhibited in The Dirty Picture while essaying the role ofSilk Smitha.
When asked if she would ever do a film like that shesaid, "It was a great film it was a good film to watch. Theperformance that Vidya Balan gave was superb. I respect her somuch as an actress. But it really takes guts to do somethinglike that. I don't think I would be able to pull it off withthe restrictions that I have."
In her debut film opposite Salman, she played a villagebelle wearing Indian clothes and even in hersoon-to-be-released Rowdy Rathore, Sonakshi essays the roleof a girl named Paro from Patna, who comes to Mumbai.
"So what if I am an Indian girl, when other girls wearwestern clothes, nobody asks themthey are not type casted. Ilike these characters (Indian) they are very differentcharacters from each other in spite of being in the sameIndian space. I get enough chance to wear western outfits inadvertisements, shows, events," she said.
"When people come to me with roles, I don't look at itlike Indian or western girl...I won't chose roles like that. Ichoose roles that I believe in like whether I fit thecharacter, if audience would love to see me in it, overall bigpicture, whether I want to be part of the film or not. So thishas been my way of choosing roles. It is my second year in theindustry, I will explore other things. For now, I am happydoing this," she added.
