Sonam Kapoor credits AR Rahman with making her a household name through his song Masakali

Actress Sonam Kapoor feels luckythat maestro A R Rahman has composed music for two of herfilms - Delhi 6 and Raanjhanaa.
It was in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra's directorial ventureDelhi 6 that Rahman churned out a song Masakali which wasfeatured on Sonam. The song became so famous that peoplestarted calling Sonam as the Masakali girl.
"It was because of Rahman that people started calling meMasakali. That is the impact that the song had. He adds lifeto everything. He is a genius and a very modest person. I feelprivileged and blessed that he has given music to two of myfilms," Sonam told reporters at the promotional event ofRaanjhanaa.
Her on screen, Raanjhanaa south actor Dhanush, toocouldn't stop talking about Rahman."How can one forget the pigeon song of Sonam (Masakali)?He gives melodious music which people can never forget," hesaid.
Sonam is quite happy to share screen space with Dhanushin the film which marks his debut in Bollywood."For me Dhanush is the Raanjhanaa. No one can be likehim. He is innocent and sweet," she said.
Even Sonam's actor father Anil Kapoor was all praise forDhanush, after looking at the promo of Raanjhanaa, she said."My dad was just talking about Dhanush, how good he is inthe film, how he has acted and etc. When I asked him about me,he said you are also good and again started talking aboutDhanush," she said.
Sonam even went on to say that in real life too, shewould love to have someone like Dhanush in her life."I think there are no good boys in Bombay...I think Iwill have to go to Tamil Nadu to find a guy for me," shechuckled.
"Anytime I fall in love I feel it's a first time. I havehad no successful love story yet. I hope I will succeed nexttime when I fall in love," she said.
