Mumbai: Actress Sonam Kapoor, who was admitted to a suburban Mumbai hospital for the treatment of Swine Flu on March 1, is showing improvement in her health.
The 29-year-old actress tested positive for the virus in Rajkot, where she was shooting for her film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, co-starring Salman Khan.
She was then taken to Mumbai, where she is undergoing treatment. "Sonam has been detected with Swine Flu but it is under control. She has been shifted to a hospital in Mumbai and she is showing signs of speedy recovery. Hopefully, she should be back at work soon. We thank all her fans and industry alike for their love and support," a statement from her spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, the film's director Sooraj Barjatya and actress Swara Bhaskar were also spotted wearing masks on the sets of the movie.
