Sonam Kapoor looks stunning in a red and cream outfit and a huge neck-piece of uncut diamonds and gold at the India International Jewellery Week held in New Delhi.
New Delhi:
Sonam Kapoor is undoubtedly one of Bollywood's most fashionable stars and never fails to impress with her style picks. Sonam maintains that she cannot be a stylist because she only knows how to dress herself, but was happy to offer some tips on essential jewel-box pieces.
"Solitary earrings, terrace bracelet, gold chain like Indian women wear," were on top of Sonam's list.
"Bangles for sure, big traditional Indian neckpiece," she added.
Sonam also had bauble advice for Indian brides: "When you get married, instead of making a big neckpiece, I think girls should wear two-three pieces, which can be worn over and over."
Sonam's other choices for your jewellery box were chandelier earrings, maang teeka which looks "really nice" with Indian wear and cocktail rings.
We all love what Sonam wears, and we asked her to list the ten most priced posessions in her wardrobe.
Stock your closet with Sonam's must have pieces. "I think boyfriend jeans, black belt, brogues, a white shirt and nothing looks better than a beautiful sari on Indian girls," she said.
Next came "A little black dress, a blazer, a leather jacket and a maxi skirt. Ghagraa skirts look really cool and I think only Indian girls can pull it off."
Sonam went basic and casual for her last two options, opting for a white and black T-shirt and track pants.
Looks like it's shopping time for us, Sonam-style.
