Congress President Sonia Gandhi today sent a bouquet of flowers to ailing Tamil film superstar Rajinikanth wishing him speedy recovery.
Party spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan said Gandhi wished a speedy recovery to the actor and his family thanked her for the gesture. Her family members said the superstar was responding well to the treatment.
The Tamil superstar's wife Latha told reporters outside in Chennai that her husband, who was admitted to hospital for respiratory infection and gastro-intestinal problems, was responding well to the treatment.
