South Indian actress Pranitha escaped with minor injuries when a car, in which she was travelling, overturned in Telangana's Nalgonda district on Sunday, police said.
The accident occurred near Mothey on the Suryapet-Khammam road when the actress along with her mother and four others were returning to Hyderabad from Khammam. All the occupants sustained minor injuries.
Pranitha, who was returning after inaugurating a showroom in Khammam, posted images of the overturned vehicle on Twitter. She added that they were safe:
The car lost balance and overturned when the driver tried to avoid hitting a two-wheeler.
A few people repairing a road nearby rushed to their rescue and called an ambulance. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Suryapet.
Pranitha has featured in films like Porki, Baava, Bheema Theeradalli and Whistle.
