Former band Spice Girls reunited forthe first time in four years today as they launched a stagemusical Viva Forever inspired by their pop careers.
The ex-bandmates Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, GeriHalliwell, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham were last seentogether for their 2008 reunion tour.
The four girls, who went their separate ways about adecade ago, posed for pictures at the St Pancras Hotel whichfeatured in the video for the quintet's debut single Wannabein 1996.
The Girls looked similarly elegant as they lined uptoday, seeming remarkably youthful despite the passage oftime, reported The Telegraph.
They were joined by producer Judy Craymer, the theatricalimpresario behind the success of Mamma Mia!, and JenniferSaunders, who has written the new production.
Viva Forever will feature numerous chart hits recordedby the Spice Girls during their years of chart domination inthe late 1990s when they become one of the UK's biggestexports.
Their chart-topping hits included Two Become One andSpice Up Your Life.
The musical is due to open at the Piccadilly Theatre inLondon's West End on December 11.
