The Taylor Swift-Jake Gyllenhaal romance is over, almost as soon as it began. "They're over. It ended last month," people.com quoted a source as saying.
Reasons behind the breakup have not been made public and there has been no comment from either star's representative.
The country music star and the actor brought in the New Year separately with Taylor at a party in Nashville and Jake at a closing party for Broadway show Fela!, in New York.
The couple were first spotted together during the Thanksgiving weekend, and last seen publicly on Dec 9 in Los Angeles.
