This picture is of actress Vidya Balan, shooting for her new film Bobby Jasoos. Yes, it really is. No, we couldn't believe it either. But it's her.
In the just-released first look of the film, detective Vidya is on sleuthing duty on the pavement outside Hyderabad's railway station dressed as a male beggar, complete with beard and ragged hair. Quite a change from the garish but very feminine costumes she wore in The Dirty Picture and Ghanchakkar.
We hear that Vidya's get-up had passers-by fooled with one woman even handing her some money.
Dia Mirza, who is co-producing Bobby Jasoos with her fiance Sahil Sangha, tweeted: That's our Bobby Jasoos in disguise;) She's one of a kind.
Directed by Samar Shaikh, Bobby Jasoos is expected to release in the summer of 2014.
