Sridevi feels that Broadway shows are quite entertaining.
Mumbai:
Bollywood actress Sridevi is looking forward to Broadway shows Cirque de Glace and Snow White on Ice, scheduled to take place in the Aamby Valley, near Pune. She feels the "healthy entertainment" will wow everyone.
The shows are being organised under the title "Aamby Valley Broadway Delights" from Feb 21 to April 17.
"I have been to Aamby Valley and I enjoyed being there. I have also seen Broadway shows abroad and they are perfect. I am sure this one will be even greater than that," she said at a press conference organised here on Wednesday.
"Whenever we want to show such shows to our children, we take them abroad. But this is happening for the first time in India. This is a very nice thing. It will be a nice outing with healthy entertainment," said the actress.
Talking about the show, Sridevi said it is not only about entertainment.
"We learn a lot through these shows. The dedication, hard work, the way they dance...they are so professional. So it's not only entertainment, it encapsulates a lot of things as well," said Sridevi, who wowed everyone with her performance in English Vinglish.
"This is such a nice thing and I am sure India will go mad seeing it," she added.
