New Delhi: Rajinikanth, Sridevi's Moondru Mudichu co-star, was photographed at Anil Kapoor's home on Monday evening to meet the family of the late actress. Rajinikanth's wife Latha Rajinikanth arrived separately. After the news of Sridevi's sudden death shattered everyone, Rajinikanth had tweeted: "I'm shocked and very disturbed. I've lost a dear friend and the industry has lost a true legend. My heart goes out to her family and friends. I feel the pain with them #RIPSridev ... you will be missed." Before Rajinikanth, Sridevi's south colleagues Kamal Haasan and Venkatesh were also photographed at Anil Kapoor's home. Bollywood celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Karisma Kapoor were among the others from the film fraternity to gather at the Kapoor residence to pay condolences to the family.

Sridevi and Rajinikanth co-starred in many films, including Bhagwaan Dada, Moondru Mudichu and ChaalBaaz. Moondru Mudichu also featured Kamal Haasan.

Kamal Hassan had also posted a tweet remembering Sridevi. "Have witnessed Sridevi's life from an adolescent teenager to the magnificent lady she became. Her stardom was well deserved. Many happy moments with her flash through my mind including the last time I met her. Sadma's lullaby haunts me now. We'll miss her," he tweeted on Sunday.
 


Sridevi died on Saturday in Dubai. Earlier, it was reported that the cause of death was cardiac arrest. However, a postmortem has revealed that Sridevi "accidentally drowned" in the bathtub of the Dubai hotel she was staying in on Saturday, Dubai Police said on Monday. Sridevi will be brought to Mumbai later today..
