Stalin's son Udayanidhi says no to politics
Madurai: Debutante actor Udhayanidhi Stalin, who is the grandson of DMK chief M Karunanidhi and son of M K Stalin, rubbished talks of his possible entry into politics and said he wanted to focus on his acting career.

"There has been some talk of giving me a post in the DMK's youth wing. I have no intention of joining politics. Senior positions in the party should be given to those who have toiled for the party for a long time," the star of Tamil hit Oru Kal Oru Kannadi told reporters after meeting fans.

"I want to be a good grandson and son," he said.

Udyayanidhi claimed that Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, the third film of director Rajesh, has been received well in Tamil Nadu and was running to packed houses .

The youngster said he had moved court to get tax exemption for Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and that he was willing to go to the Apex Court for it.

The actor said Karunanidhi and his uncle M K Alagiri had lauded him for his acting in the movie.

Udhaynidhi, who is producing Neer Paravai (Water bird), said he would love to do a comedy.

His production venture Kuruvi with Vijay in the lead was a major hit and the actor expressed his desire to work with Vijay again if he gets a good story.
