Los Angeles:

The biopic on Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, directed by Danny Boyle with script by Aaron Sorkin, is moving forward and will feature appearances from Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet among others.

Universal announced the full list of actors who participate in the movie and the principal photography. Michael is playing the Apple co-founder, while Seth Rogen portrays Steve Wozniak, reported Ace Showbiz.

Kate is on board the movie as former Macintosh marketing boss Joanna Hoffman, Katherine Waterston plays Mr Jobs' former girlfriend Chrisann Brennan and Michael Stuhlbarg plays one of the original Mac developers. Jeff Daniels plays former Apple CEO John Sculley. There will be three actresses - Makenzie Moss, Ripley Sobo and Perla Haney-Jardine - who play Mr Jobs' daughter Lisa at various ages. Sarah Snook and Adam Shapiro are also among the cast.

The project was previously developed by Sony, but it was picked up by Universal after Sony put it in turnaround.

The film is based on Walter Isaacson's 2011 biography. It will follow Mr Jobs around three production announcements, the original Mac, NEXT computer and the Apple iMac.

Universal says production is currently underway in San Francisco. A few days ago, they drew a number of crowd when filming in Berkeley.
