Steven Spielberg has roped indirector Colin Trevorrow to helm the next installment ofblockbuster dinosaurs series Jurassic Park 4.
Spielberg, who directed the first two films in theseries, will serve as an executive producer on the film.Trevorrow, behind indie drama Safety Not Guaranteed,will direct from a script by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, theHollywood Reporter said.
The first three films in the series, which was launchedin 1993, have earned USD 1.9 billion at the box office.Jurassic Park 4 is slated to hit theaters in June 2014.
