His outfits often steal the thunder from his glamorous co-judge Jennifer Lopez on 'American Idol' and the secret of rocker Steven Tyler's colourful wardrobe is out. He simply borrows clothes from daughter, actress Liv Tyler.
The 'Lord of the Rings' actress said that the 'Aerosmith' frontman has no problem wearing feminine garments and often raids her own wardrobe, reported New York magazine online.
"My dad wears girls' clothes, it's so funny. And sometimes I see him and I'm like, 'Nice shirt', because it's from my closet," said the 33-year-old actress. But Tyler has no problem with her 63-year-old dad's flamboyant style or his eccentric personality.
"I speak his language. I understand what he's talking about. I feel really proud of him. I think he's a really amazing, magical man and all those funny things that he says that people find so strange, my whole life I've been hearing them and they make me laugh," said Tyler about her rock star father.
The 'Pink' singer has a penchant for bright silk shirts and scarves and also wears make-up on 'American Idol'.
