New Delhi:

Please stop overacting, TV star Asha Negi has implored celebrities sharing videos of themselves getting their vaccine shots. In a hilariously exasperated post on Instagram, Asha wrote: "To all the actors who are uploading their vaccination videos, yaar awareness ke liye thik hai but please itni overacting mat kiya karo, bohot annoying ho jaata hai (spreading awareness is fine but please don't overact, it's very annoying)." There was an additional sting in the caption for Asha's post - she wrote, "Please yaar! Aur haan log pooch rahe hain videographer khud le ja rahe ho ya hospital is providing (people are asking if you are taking your own videographer or if the hospital is providing)?"

Asha's post seemed to resonate with many. Several colleagues commented, among them Pooja Hegde who wrote: "Hahahaha, there was one actress whose video was like the epitome." Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anita Hassanandani and Ravi Dubey (who announced that he is COVID-positive) left laugh emojis.

Asha Negi did not name names, neither did Pooja Hegde. However, one celebrity springs instantly to mind - Asha's Pavitra Rishta co-star Ankita Lokhande, who began praying while getting her vaccine shot some days ago.

Just leaving Ankita Lokhande's video here - feel free to join the dots:

Contrary to Asha Negi's post, though, most celebrities have managed to keep their vaccination posts drama free - Konkona Sen Sharma got her shot today and shared some tips on how she booked her slot.

Asha Negi, best known for playing Ankita Lokhande's adopted daughter Purvi on Pavitra Rishta, was last seen in the second season of web-series Abhay.
