Subhash Ghai's daughter Meghna rubbishes rumours of her father being hospitalised due to a heart attack.
According to reports earlier today, the filmmaker was said to be in ICU following a heart attack.
But the family says that doctors discovered gallbladder stones when Ghai went into hospital for a routine checkup and recommended surgery. The surgery was a minor one and the veteran filmmaker is now recovering.
Meghna Ghai, daughter of Subhash Ghai said, "My father had been going for his regular tests and on checking they found a small surgical issue that needed to be addressed and therefore he was admitted for a simple elective procedure. The procedure has been done and he will be out of hospital within the next few days."
