Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar was pictured in Mumbai's Khar along with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's daughter Suhana, and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda. The pictures might be from 'The Archies' prep session. Last year, Zoya Akhtar revealed in an Instagram post that she is working on the Hindi adaptation of The Archie comics. According to multiple reports, Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor have been zeroed in to play the roles of Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge and Betty Cooper. The adventures of Archie Andrews and his squad including Veronica, Betty, Jughead and Reggie, have been immortalised by several adaptions of films and cartoon series. The character Archie Andrews first appeared in the Pep Comics and gained insane popularity in as a standalone character in the pop culture. We would love to see what the Indian adaptation of the series has in store.
Speaking of what can as of now be best described as the potential cast, all of them have some impeccable genes. Suhana Khan, daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and interior decorator Gauri Khan, has inherited her love for acting from her father SRK. Agastya is the son of author Shweta Bachchan Nanda and business tycoon Nikhil Nanda. He is the grandchild of Bollywood veterans Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Khushi Kapoor is the daughter of late superstars Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor. Her sister Janhvi Kapoor also features in Bollywood films.
