New Delhi:
Sunil Grover is back with a new song and back with a bang! The comedian just dropped a new song titled Daaru Pee Ke Girna, in which he features in a new role - one that of Billa Sharabi - who finds it difficult to navigate through the ways of life without his favourite choice of tippler. Twitter is happy in general to have seen Sunil Grover make a fresh appearance and loves Billa Sharabi. Since Sunil quit Kapil Sharma's show, fans of the comedian always look forward to fresh content featuring his onscreen personas. This time, Twitter is overwhelmed: "Kya baat hai sir..bahot maza aya...chaa gaye guru," read a tweet while another added: "Sir, I want to say one thing only that it's fantastic and you are superb and mind blowing."
Daaru Pee Ke Girna is a satirical take on the nuances of alcoholism and Sunil Grover has emerged in the eyes of Twitter with renewed respect for his attempt to drive home a social message. "More we watch him perform, he compels us to respect him more."
Some folks on Twitter pointed out that Sunil Grover's new song could be an oblique reference to ex colleague Kapil Sharma. "Hope you're not pointing at your old friend with this song," read the tweet. Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover parted ways after their mid-air altercation. Kapil, who resorted to alcohol after the incident, recently got admitted at a Bengaluru-based rehab to recover from alcoholism.
Composed by Amit Trivedi, credits for singing the song go to Sunil Grover himself.

Previously, Sunil Grover also starred in something similar - a song named Mere Husband Mujhe Piyar Nahi Karte, which was inspired by the character Rinku Bhabi from The Kapil Sharma Show.

Sunil Grover is reportedly all set to return with a new show in October. It is speculated that with Kapil's show having gone off air, Kiku Sharda (who had continued his tryst with Kapil) will be part of Sunil's new show, which will also reportedly include Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra.
