Sunny and Bobby Deol have crooned a song to pay an ode to their dad Dharmendra's unique dance style in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2
Mumbai:
Sunny and Bobby Deol have crooned a song in the upcoming sequel of their 2011 comic caper Yamla Pagla Deewana directed by Sangeeth Sivan. The track is an ode to their father Dharmendra (who also stars in the film) and his unique dancing style.
Says a unit source, "One day Sunny got a brainwave of paying homage to his dad through a song. The track Main te aiden hi nachna embodies the spirit of Dharamji's dance style. It is like his belief that 'I don't know how to dance but this is the way I know to dance and this is how I will dance'."
Adds the source, "Dharamji's signature dance steps are well known in his song Main jat yamla pagla deewana. He is the original dancer of Bollywood and everybody else just copies his style."
Sunny confirms, "Yes, Bobby and I have sung a few lines in the film and very soon we will be shooting for the song."
