Suraj Sharma to Play Pakistani Medical Student in <i>Homeland 4</i>
Los Angeles: Indian actor Suraj Sharma, bestknown for his titular character in Life of Pi, has joinedthe starcast of the popular terror drama Homeland 4.The actor will play the recurring role of Aayan Ibrahim, aPakistani medical student, who crosses paths with CIA agentCarrie Mathison. The action thriller series has also tapped Corey Stoll andLaila Robins as cast members, reported Ace Showbiz.The House of Cards star will guest star as SandyBachman, the CIA chief of a station in Pakistan who's a risingstar within the agency, while Robins has landed a regularrole as Martha Boyd, USA's ambassador to Pakistan.

Homeland will begin production for season 4 later thismonth in Cape Town, South Africa for a fall premiere. The newseason is likely to show Carrie on a field mission after shetakes a job as chief of a station in the Middle East.

After starring in the critically-acclaimed 3D film Lifeof Pi, Suraj played a role in Million Dollar Arm, a biopicabout sports agent JB Bernstein, starring Jon Hamm.
