Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandonhas revealed that as a young hopeful in Hollywood she was thevictim of a "disgusting" casting-couch experience.
The actress says the incident took place when she went toaudition for a role, Elle magazine reported.
"It was not successful - for either of us. I just wentinto a room, and a guy practically threw me on the desk. Itwas my early days in New York, and it was really disgusting.It wasn't like I gave it a second though, it was so badlydone," Sarandon said when asked if she ever had acasting-couch experience.
The 66-year-old actress did not reveal the name of theperson or the audition.
Sarandon had her first audition at the age of 23 when shewent to a casting call for the motion picture Joe, landing amajor co-starring role in the film, which was released in1970.
The actress went on to win an Academy Award for BestActress for her performance in the 1995 film Dead ManWalking.
