Mumbai: Actress Sushmita Sen, who has returned to the big screen with her first Bengali film Nirbaak, said that she does not want a Hindi remake of it.
The film has four love stories connected by a nameless woman played by Sushmita Sen.
"I don't think Nirbaak can be remade in Hindi or any other language. The film's essence is pretty Bengali. Moreover, it is not even needed to be presented in any other language because the film's name is Nirbaak which means speechless," the actress said during the premiere of the film for her Hindi film industry friends.
"There are very few dialogues in the film. So, anybody not only from the country but from the world can understand the film," she added.
Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the film was released in Kolkata on May 1 while it released in rest of the country on May 15.
