The action star has acted in four Rambo films so far.
Los Angeles:
The Expendables star Sylvester Stallone is in talks to star and produce a TV series based on his famous action film series, Rambo.
Stallone is currently in talks to get involved in the project on a creative level and to potentially reprise his role as the title character, reported Aceshowbiz.
"I'm excited by the prospect of collaborating again with my good friend Sly for an encore in this next phase of the Rambo legacy. The ability to fuse the big screen and the small screen through Avi's feature film expertise and eOne's domestic production capabilities and international distribution infrastructure, makes for a highly complementary partnership," said eOne TV CEO John Morayniss.
Stallone and Nu Image's Avi Lerner worked together for the fourth Rambo film which was released in 2008. There had been plans to make the fifth installment but the project was confirmed to be on hold in 2012. Stallone and Lerner continue their partnership with The Expendables film franchise.
