The Koffee With Karan questions always find their way to Taapsee Pannu and she always manages to give mic drop-worthy answers. This time too, Taapsee had an epic reply, with more than a little help from Dobaaraa director Anurag Kashyap. Taapsee and Anurag Kashyap, during an interview with Bollywood Bubble were asked if they have been invited to this season of Karan Johar's talk show, to which the actress replied, "Nahi bhai, nahi bulaya mujhe. Nahi bulaya hai. (No I am not invited to the show). We are not as exciting as... I keep telling everyone who ask me probably." Anurag Kashyap, who has been a guest on the show in a previous season of Koffee With Karan, added, "Humlog ko nahi bulaya bhai. (We are not invited to the show)."
The duo joked about starting their own show as per "budget." Anurag Kashyap also had a few suggestions for the show's name. "Humlog apna khud hi karne wale hai...Cutting with Kashyap. Budget ke hisab se (We will have our own show and call it Cutting With Kashyap, according to our budget)." Taapsee added,"Ek tapri pe baithe uska set hoga. Ek tapri pe baithenge hum (We will set up a stall)." Anurag Kashyap offered a few more suggestions for the show's tittle (all hilarious BTW). "Tharra with Taapsee, Panna with Pannu," the filmmaker added. Taapsee added, "Panna with Pannu is very nice. I really like this. I'm going to like get this copyright."
There is absolutely no scope for conjecture, Taapsee Pannu has been more than clear about the fact that she has not been invited to the show. In an interview earlier this month, when asked why she never gets invited to Koffee With Karan, Taapsee said, "My sex life is not interesting enough to be invited on Koffee with Karan."
Taapsee Pannu stars in Dobaaraa, alongside Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film is slated to release on August 19.
