Child actor Tanay Chheda, known for his performances in films like My Name Is Khan, Taare Zameen Par and Slumdog Millionaire, has been chosen to receive the best entertainer award at the seventh edition of the POGO Amazing Kids Awards (PAKA).
The 14-year-old is one among seven children across seven different categories to be awarded at PAKA, which attempts to reward child prodigies in multiple fields, said a press statement.
Other winners include Vishnu Ramprasad from Chennai (musician), S. Mahadevan from Trivandrum (singer), Shraddha Nagaraj from Bangalore (dancer), Swapnali Yadav from Mumbai (sports), Dishaddra Poddar from Delhi (artist) and Priyanshi Somani from Ajmer (genius).
The winners have been shortlisted out of 21 nominees, who displayed outstanding achievements, exceptional talent and skill at a young age, after scrutiny from an internal jury.
