Tanuja has presented her daughter Tanishaa Mukherji with a diamond ring for the success of the movie Son Of Sardaar. Tanishaa Mukherji had co-produced the movie with her brother-in-law Ajay Devgn.
- A source said, "Tanishaa has of late been spotted wearing a rock which practically takes over half of her middle finger. People have been asking her whether it is an engagement ring. But she has been heard telling her pals that it is a gift from her mommy dearest."
- The source added, "Tanuja was delighted that her daughter’s debut as a producer was successful and crossed the much coveted Rs 100 crore collection club. She wanted to give her daughter something special to mark the occasion. Considering all the issues the film had to face and still made it, she wanted to give something special to her beti." It is learnt that Tanuja specially ordered the sparkler from a designer friend and it costs some cool lakhs. Tanishaa Mukherji was taken by surprise to receive it and now considers it the most important part of her jewellery.
