Tannishtha Chatterjee learning Marathi for <i>Sunrise</i>

Mumbai: National award winning actressTannishtha Chatterjee finds her role in Indo-French projectSunrise complex and is also learning Marathi for it.

Tannishtha collected national award for her movieDekh Indian Circus. She received the special mention awardthis year for her performance in the film.

The actress will be seen in director Partho SenGupta's Indo-French film Sunrise.

"I am quite excited about Sunrise. I am playing avery interesting and difficult role. I play a woman who hasstopped in time, she hasn't moved on. She is living ten yearsback. Time has stopped for her. It is a very complex butfabulous role," Tannishtha told PTI.

The actress mentioned that she is learning Marathi toessay her role with perfection. "The film requires me to speakin Hindi, Marathi and a bit of French. I am learning Marathi.We have a tutor for it," she said.

Tannishtha will also be seen alongside Madhuri Dixitand Juhi Chawla in Gulaab Gang.

"I don't have too many scenes with Juhi, but have anumber of scenes with Madhuri. She is such a delight to workwith. She is so real and grounded," Tannishtha said.

The dusky beauty reveals that they did stunts on theirown for the film.

"We all had trainers. They trained us well. But we alldid our own stunts, fight scenes. It was wonderful," she said.
