The Kangna Ranaut-Madhavan starrer was titled Manu Weds Tanu but the name was changed at the actress' insistence to Tanu Weds Manu.
Director Anand Rai felt Manu Weds Tanu was apt but Kangna who plays Tanu felt the narrative unfolds from her character's point of view so it should come first.
The director was taken aback and spoke to Madhavan, who had no issues. Hopefully, Kangna has put as much thought in to essaying her role as well.
