'Gossip Girl' Taylor Momsen wentfrom acting to singing and now she wants to turn designer andcreate a fashion line of her own.
The 17-year-old who recently fronted a campaign forMadonna's clothing range 'Material Girl' said that she wantsto try her hand at fashion but is currently too busy to devotetime for it, a website reported.
"I've always wanted to have a line at some point butwhen I do that I really want to have the time to be able tocommit to it properly. Right now I'm so busy but sometime inthe future I would love to have a line," said the actress whonow fronts the rock band 'Pretty Reckless'.
The teenager, who often grabs headlines for her skimpyattire, said that when she finally turns to fashion, she willbe involved in the designing process, unlike other celebs whojust lend names to brands.
"I'll be very involved in the design and all of it, Iwant to spend all my time making it the best it can possiblybe. I don't want to just put my name on it and have otherpeople do all the work," she said.
"I try to be original and have my own style. I'vealways dressed differently to all the other kids but that'sthe great thing about fashion, it doesn't have to be foreveryone. I draw inspiration from different eras, I love the60s and I love Edie Sedgewick but I wouldn't say I dressexactly like that. I just try to make everything my own," sheadded.
