Country star Taylor Swift was so heartbroken after her brief romance with actor Jake Gyllenhaal ended that she could not even eat.
The Love Story hitmaker, who dated Gyllehaal for three months was reportedly dumped by the 30-year-old actor over telephone, leaving her hurt, Contactmusic reported.
"She was not her usual bubbly, over-animated self. She didn't eat anything seemed very sad and definitely wasn't having a good time," said a source who saw the singer at the People's Choice Awards this month.
Meanwhile, another friend added that the phone call left the 21-year-old singer frustrated.
"Taylor is really upset and hurt. She doesn't know what she did for him to just put a stop to it. She feels really burned by him," he said.
Reports have claimed that the nine year age-gap in their relationship left the 'Brokeback Mountain' star uncomfortable leading to an end to their brief romance.
"Jake reached out to her and started all of this, but now he's not acting as interested. He said he wasn't feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got," another source said.
