The news reached Anupam Kher a little later because he's currently in Sydney but he did find time to write about his fond memories of Shashi Kapoor, who "was the 1st to give me a role in Utsav". "He was full of life and Life was full of him. Most charming actor and human beings of all times," he added. Other stars who have also mourned the "end of an era" on Twitter are Hrithik Roshan, Arshad Warsi, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon.
