Hollywood actor Denzel Washingtonbelieves that advanced technology is the reason behind thepopularity of comic-book adapted movies.
The Oscar-winning actor insists that the latestspecial effects drive the viewers to experience the samepassion and thrill as they used to experience while they usedto read such books, Contactmusic reported.
"I think that comic book movies now is what comicbooks were 40 years ago. That same adventure, that samethrill," he said.
The 55-year-old star credits critically acclaimed'Iron man' and the superhero series Spider man, both basedon the comic series of the same name, with using technology torecreate the magic of their original comics.
"I had a buddy of mine who had this big collection ofcomic books and he lived in that world man! Now I think withthe technology we can do comic books on steroids," saidWashington.
