Mumbai: Veteran Telugu actor Srihari, who was recently seen in Thoofan, the Telugu version of Zanjeer, died on Wednesday at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai. He was 49.
Director Apoorva Lakhia, who directed Shrihari in Thoofan, confirmed the news. "It's so shocking. Yes, it is true that he passed away today (Wednesday) evening. He died at 5.15 p.m."
The cause of his death is not known yet.
When asked what happened to Srihari, Lakhia said: "I have no clue. I am rushing to the hospital."
"We had lunch together yesterday. He was with me from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and today I get this news. I am very upset," Lakhia said.
.Srihari's last was Telugu movie Police Game.
