New Delhi:
Upset fans of superstar Rajinikanth are praying for him on Facebook and Twitter as the actor was admitted to hospital for the second time within a week. Rajinikanth is stable, but doctors have advised him complete rest.
Rajinikanth was admitted to Chennai's Isabel Hospital on Wednesday night after he complained of breathlessness. He is being treated for allergic bronchitis, hospital sources said. On April 29, he was admitted to the same hospital briefly, for exhaustion and dehydration.
This time the doctors say Rajinikanth will be kept under observation for two days. "He might have caught the viral while he was meeting visitors," said a doctor who was attending on the superstar. He also assured that there was "nothing to panic, he's doing very well."
Rajini is currently shooting for his latest film Rana in which he plays a triple role. Rajinikanth's hospitalisation last week came on the day on which Rana went on the floors.
A fan sums it up on Facebook: Kelvin Xevier I am seriously damn scared and i don't want Thalaivar to say Rana is my last movie :(.
