New Delhi:
Karan Johar's Students Of The Year - Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan - dropped by his residence on Diwali to celebrate five years of the movie and what made the get-together extra special is the presence of two tiny new members of the Johar khandaan. This was the first Diwali for Karan's twins, Yash and Roohi, who were part of the festivities along with papa Karan, grand-mother Hiroo Johar and Alia Bhatt, of course. Karan, who is known to update his social media feed quite regularly, has surprisingly less posts featuring his twins. Hence, we have only Alia Bhatt to thank for this brand new photo of the cutie pies from the party.
Presenting Roohi and Yash, dressed in traditional, being so, so, so adorable.
Some more glimpses from inside Karan Johar's party:
Later that evening, the filmmaker and his Students attended the Diwali parties hosted by the Kapoors and Aamir Khan. Karan, a single parent, has admittedly claimed to be playing "double roles" for the twins, introduced Roohi and Yash on social media with this post. This is from when they were six months.
Roohi and Yash were born via surrogacy in February and were welcomed home after a month's stay in the hospital because of their premature birth. In an interview with PTI, Karan hinted that his next movie might have a connection with the arrival of his twins: "It's not that I will make parental film but there would be layers in my next film that would actually explicitly portray my humongous level of excitement for having Yash and Roohi."
Alia Bhatt, looking forward to more entries to your album titled 'la famille.' Meanwhile, Happy Diwali.
