Deepika and Priyanka will have a lavni dance-off in Bajirao Mastani.
New Delhi:
Reports of Priyanka Chopra earning the wrath of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for sharing snippets from the sets of Bajirao Mastani don't seem to have discouraged the actress at all. Priyanka, who plays Peshwa Bajirao I's first wife Kashibai in the film, continues to blithely post behind-the-scenes pictures, like this latest image on Instagram:

The dance sequence is choreographed by Remo D'Souza and is being shot over a period of 12 days, with over 50 background dancers on a larger-than-life set. The lavni sequence is touted to be as grand and mesmerising as Dola Re from Devdas, which featured actresses Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai. "It is never easy to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as he wants nothing short of perfection. Also, with the costumes, it is never easy to choreograph or perform for the actresses. This one has two actresses so it will require absolute perfection and synchronization," Remo said in an interview to PTI.
Meanwhile, the rehearsals for the dance sequence have left Priyanka exhausted. She had earlier tweeted:
She also posted pictures from rehearsals showing exactly exhausted she was:
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed period drama stars actor Ranveer Singh as the Peshwa general while Deepika will be seen in the titular role of Mastani, Bajirao's second wife.
The film is expected to release this December.
