New Delhi:
Hollywood macho man Sylvester Stallone's much-awaited ensemble action directorial venture The Expendables is going to hit over 400 Indian screens, in English and Hindi, on August 13.
Starring an array of action veterans like Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews, Randy Couture and Steve Austin, the film is a tribute to the blockbuster action films of the 1980s and early 1990s.
Having a simultaneous release worldwide, it is being distributed in India by Rajat Enterprises.
"It is our first offering in India as independent distributors and the film is by far the most awaited Hollywood action film in India this August. We will release the film in more than 400 screens all over the country," Ranjan Singh of Rajat Enterprises said in a statement.
The movie revolves around a group of mercenaries, led by Stallone, who are hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator (David Zayas).
Once the mission begins, the men realise things aren't quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal.
With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.
