Mumbai:
Invitations have been sent out for Lara Dutta's February wedding to tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi and the guest list promises to spice up the simple Victorian-style ceremony in Goa.
Lara, a Catholic, has opted for a white wedding Christian-style and has invited all her friends from B-town to the happy occasion. These include warring Khans, Salman and Shah Rukh. Chances are, the two could have a Goan ceasefire, continuing the peace process begun by SRK's wife Gauri at Salman's brother, Sohail's birthday party. Bollywood stargazers will be watching closely to see how each Khan chooses to behave with the other. Other guests include Akshay Khanna, Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor.
The invitation cards - for the sangeet on February 18 and the wedding the next day - are typically English in design. The design firm behind the invites, Entertainment Design Company, also worked on the Abhishek-Aishwarya wedding.
The ceremonies promise to be glittering with stardust but Lara and Mahesh, though making sure that security is strict, have not taken the extreme measure of providing guests with swipe cards, as in the just concluded Imran-Avantika nuptials.
