Let's just say that the Internet is mighty impressed with this unusual crossover of Haseen Dillruba and TV show CID. Yes, this happened and fans of the popular TV show can't keep calm (more on that later). Netflix India shared a promotional video for Haseen Dillruba on its social media handles. The film, starring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Harshvardhan Rane, also features actor Aditya Shrivastava as a cop investigating the case in the film, who is best-known for playing Inspector Abhijeet in the television series CID. In the video, Aditya Shrivastava seeks help from his old friends to solve the "ultimate kaunspiracy" of Haseen Dillruba and what follows, are some popular CID references and loads of nostalgia.
The video features Dayanand Shetty (the door-breaker Inspector Daya) as Anand, Shivaji Satam as Ajinkya Sir (aka CP Pradyuman), and Narendra Gupta (Duh! Dr Salunkhe) as Kamthe, Together they try to decode the case of Rani Kashyap, a huge fan of a novelist Dinesh Pandit. Will they be able to crack the case? Check out the video to know.

Fans of the show CID flooded the comments section of the post. "Petition to introduce a Netflix series on CID," wrote a fan. "Did you break any doors while making this?" added another Instagram user. "CID Reunion 2021,"read a comment. "Best crossover ever...Iska matlab samjhe Netflix?" read another fan's comment.
Haseen Dillruba has been directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Aanand L Rai and it has been written by Kanika Dhillon. The murder thriller is all set to premiere on Netflix today.
