It was pet trouble and not her yo-yo relationship with ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan that drove DJ Samantha Ronson across town.
After the 33 year old DJ's English bulldog, Cadillac, mauled a neighbour's dog to death he was declared canine non grata in no uncertain terms by authorities in the West Hollywood area. Outlawed in the district, Cadillac will be put down if caught on the streets, parks or any public space, whether leashed or not.
Ronson moved house across town to Venice Beach pronto and is allowed to keep her pet in her new neighbourhood as long as she buys a $20 licecnce and makes sure his paperwork and shots are up to date.
Ronson apologised to Farnouche Kamran, her former neighbour and owner of Tiger, the Maltese that came off the worse in it's encounter with Cadillac. Kamran has sued Ronson for $750,000 for negligence, assault and battery, alleging that she was mentally and physically injured in the attack.
Ronson's dog days are hopefully at an end now. She can no longer park Cadillac in West Hollywood but Lindsay Lohan, who followed her to Venice Beach, can probably make time to pet-sit when required.
