New Delhi: The Road Trip, the first part of Y Films' series of short movies titled Love Shots, released on March 8, and stars actors Nimrat Kaur and Tahir Raj Bhasin as a married couple.

The duo, who perfectly fit into the roles of Archie and Nikhil respectively, embark on a road trip to Pune but are found chatting by the roadside somewhere in-between. A crashed, smoke-billowing car can also be seen in the background as they have a heart-to-heart conversation.

Meanwhile, an ambulance can be seen in the distance and the story takes a turn.

Directed by Ankur Tewari, the seven-and-a-half minute film will have you glued to the screen. The Road Trip ends with a preview of the next movie in line titled Koi Dekh Lega and a song.

Earlier, Y Films, which is the youth division of Yash Raj Films, had also released webseries like Man's World and Band Baaja Baaraat.

Love Shots will also feature six songs in each of its creations, which includes Scandal, The Big Date, Textbook and Fired. Actors such as Farida Jalal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Shweta Tripathi, Tillotama Shome, Saqib Saleem, Rhea Chakraborty, Mohit Marwah and Saba Azad and lyricist Swanand Kirkire have been roped in for the short films.
