The skirt was designed for Tamannaah for the song Naino Mein Sapna
Mumbai:
This one is every designer's nightmare! Apparently Tamannaah Bhatia's costumes in Sajid Khan's remake of Himmatwala had a skirt made out of 36 metres of fabric. And to chalk out the details, the director himself sat with designer Rick Roy for hours.
A source from the sets says, "Sajid sat with Rick for every change with the actors. He was very clear that the costumes should not be similar but should match the flavour of the songs from the original film."
And those close to Rick say the 36 metre-long skirt in Naino Main Sapna was no mean feat!
Rick says, "The skirt was not an easy task to complete. Five people sat together to stitch it and I was worried how I would finally manage to complete it. Tamannaah managed to carry it off really well."
