New Delhi: Fashion designer Neeta Lulla hasconceptualised the look for each of the characters insuperstar Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan - The Legend.

The movie, directed by Rajinikanth's daughter SoundaryaRajnikanth Ashwin, is India's first photorealistic performancecapture film.

"Neeta has done an outstanding job on the costumes forKochadaiyaan. The details in the armour and the weaponizedlook of the costumes really creates an impact. Thephotorealistic performance capture technology used in the filmis extremely advanced and the work done on the costumes reallyshines through," Soundarya said.

Rajinikanth, 62, stars as a legendary mythologicalcharacter in the film.

Lulla and her team immersed in extensive research toachieve the perfect look and deliver intricate luminosity toeach of the garments designed for Kochadaiyaan.

"It feels totally wonderful to be a part ofKochadaiyaan. I am proud to be associated with Rajini Sir'sventure which is directed by his daughter Soundarya. Being apart of Kochadaiyaan is definitely a milestone in mycareer. I think, the project is larger than life for twoaspects- one being Rajini sir and the other being that it is aphoto realistic motion capture film format that is a first ofits kind.

"Its visual grandiosity conceived by Soundarya makes thescale of this project one of the biggest I have worked on,"the designer said.
